Team Pilot CaptainVanover Alex Vanover
We are happy to announce Alex Vanover (captainvanover) will be joining team FlightClub!
At just 19 years old Alex has already accomplished more than a lot of people will do in their whole lives. His resume is too long to list but here’s some of his recent accomplishments.
- 2017 MultiGP Champion
- 2018 X-Fly Champion
- Tiny Whoop invitational 2019 Champion
- 2018 DHL Champions
- 2018 FAI Gwacheon World Cup
- 2018 Buffalo Bando Champion
- 2019 Phoenix Cup Champion
- 2019 MultiGP 2nd Place
- 2019 Mayhem (12 hour team race) 2nd place
Beyond his accomplishments he’s already achieved in drone racing, he’s pursuing his commercial pilot license to fly real planes.
What makes Alex one of if not the fastest pilot in the world, is his passion, dedication and drive that’s borderline addiction for drone racing. He literally eats, sleeps and breaths drone racing. His family moved into an airplane hanger so he can have a place to easily setup a track and practice.
We are always pushing boundaries and coming up with new concepts to design the best frames on the market.
Alex will be flying a new frame we are testing right now. Having him on team FlightClub is invaluable for research and development of racing frames. There’s no better person to test new concepts and technology in our frames.
We know Alex could have gone with any frame company he chooses so we’re honored he chose FlightClub. Welcome to the team and we can’t wait to conquer the world with you. Let’s do this!
